Para-TKD Athletes Meet WTF President During Training in Korea

(October 22, 2015) -- Members of the U.S. Para-Taekwondo team met with World Taekwondo Federation President Chungwon Choue during a recent training session at Kyung Hee University in Korea. U.S. athletes in the training program include 2015 National Para Champion (K44 +75kg) Evan Medell, 2015 U.S. Open Para silver medalist (K44 -75kg) Felix Sabantes, and USAT Para Chairperson and 4th-ranked WTF Para athlete (K44 +75kg) SSG Corbin Stacey.

"The Para Committee plans on sending two athletes to Korea every year when time allows during the G-rated competition season," says Stacey.
